Erasmus guards a great tome of forbidden magic. The ancients locked its secrets away in a cipher, and he will only share them with someone clever enough to break it.
Erasmus has guarded the library for centuries, even beyond death, and he is delighted to meet a living visitor. On the central pedestal lies a massive tome, its pages covered in strange symbols.
